Job Title: Customer Relationship Officer - Universal Banker
Location: Highmore
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Manager/Operations Manager

Job Overview:

The Customer Relationship Officer - Universal Banker is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing a variety of routine banking transactions, including account openings, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments. The role involves assisting and advising customers on bank services for their needs and with account-related requests, opening new accounts, providing service and support for existing accounts in deposit and loan departments, presenting financial products and services to existing and prospective customers, and providing high quality customer-centric services that exceeds customer’s service expectations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner, addressing their banking needs efficiently.
  • Transactions: Accurately process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing.
  • Cash Handling: Maintain an accurate cash drawer, ensuring all transactions are balanced and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
  • Cross-Selling: Identify customer needs and promote relevant bank products and services such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards.
  • Compliance & Security: Adhere to all banking regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality.
  • Account Inquiries: Assist customers with inquiries regarding their accounts, provide account information, and resolve any issues.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with branch team members while maintaining a positive and productive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Enjoy working and effectively communicating with others
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Detail orientated, self-motivated, and efficient
  • Proficient computer skills with appropriate telephone etiquette
  • Education of associate degree or higher preferred
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the bank.
